Belconnen, ACT, Feb. 6 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:

A 36-year-oldKambahman has been charged with multiple sexual assaultand imageoffencesallegedly committed againstteenagegirls.

In August last year (2025) a woman provided a statement to police alleging multiple sexual offences relating to incidents alleged to have occurredagainst herin2021.

An investigation wascommencedand earlier today (Friday, 6 February 2026) officers from the Sexual AssaultandChildAbuse team executed a search warrant at a 36-year-old man's home inKambah.

During thewarrantelectronic devices wereseizedand police will allege imagery ofmultipleunderage females waslocatedontwo phones.

The man wassubsequentlycharged withmultiple offences includingtwo counts of sexual intercourse with a young person, groominga young person,supply cannabis to a child, five counts of using a carriage service forchildabuse material, and six counts ofpossessingchild abuse material.

It will be alleged in court the man used the supply of cannabisas a means tocontact and engage with the young women.

He is expected to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 6 February 2026) where bail will be opposed.
