Belconnen, ACT, Nov. 28 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:

A30-year-old man has been chargedwith sexual assault after allegedly refusing to pay a sex workerhe metlast month.

Police will allege the man arranged for the services of a sex worker inOctober (2025)but aftersex, he refusedto pay.

The incident was reported to police and on5 November, investigators from the ACT Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team executed a search warrant onaresidence inHarrison.

The man was no longerlivingat the premises, breaching his bail conditions.

Yesterday morning (Thursday, 27 November 2025), policeconducting patrols in Deakinlocatedthe man in a carpark where he was arrested.

The manwill face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 28 November 2025), charged with reckless sexual intercourse without consent.
