BRISBANE, Queensland, Jan. 24 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
General duties officers from Capalaba and Cleveland sprung into action this week when a little adventurer got lost on her way to Nan's house, January 22.
Police were called to shops on Moreton Bay Road shortly before midday when members of the public spotted the 3-year-old girl wandering.
With a couple of fist bumps and a quick pitstop for some water, officers ensured the young explorer was well hydrated before quickly reuniting her with mum.
Senior Sergeant David Candale from Capalaba station said it was great result for all involved.
"No day is the same as a Queensland police officer, we deal with jobs big and small.
"Our officers were all too happy to help deliver the girl back home."
