TheCrisafulliGovernmentis deliveringmore jobs and better services through a stronger economy,bystrengthening economic ties with Indonesia and attracting new investment into Queensland's resources industry.

Indonesian government representatives,investorsand mining leaderswillmeet in Brisbane todayat theIndOz2026 Mining and Resources Industry Roundtable, tohearfirst-hand aboutthe investment opportunities available inQueensland's resourcessector.

Discussionswillfocusonkey resource commodities, including coal and critical minerals alongsidemining technology, processing, manufacturing, supply chainsand how Queensland and Indonesia can create more value from their shared strengths.

Discussions buildon existing commercial ties includingDhilmarLimited's acquisition of Anglo American's five steel-making coal minesthis year, supporting3550Queensland jobs.

The Crisafulli Government is accelerating the extraction,processingand export of high-quality critical minerals to theworld, anddriving new investment into projects and infrastructure.

Minister for Natural Resources and Mines Dale LastsaidQueensland was open forbusinessandthe Crisafulli Government wasready to work with Indonesian partners to unlock new investment and jobs.

"After a decade where Labor failed to actively pursuethe international investmentmarket, the Crisafulli Government is taking a different approach," Minister Last said.

"Queensland and Indonesia are both resource powerhouses, and there is a huge opportunity to do more together.

"Today's roundtableisabout turning conversations into investment outcomes.

"We want Indonesia and global investors to choose Queensland as a destination for investment, jobs and long-term growth.

"When we attract investment, we create jobs. When we create jobs, we strengthen regional communities.That'sexactly what theCrisafulliGovernment is focused on delivering.

"Queensland offers the resources, expertise and certainty businesses need to invest with confidence and grow for the long term.

Australia Indonesia Business Council Queensland Vice Chair David Widjaja said theroundtableprovidedan important opportunity for investors, industry and governmentto strengthen connections andidentifynew opportunities for collaboration.

"TheIndOzConference 2026 Queensland Mining Investor Connect Roundtable is an important opportunity to strengthen the strong and growing partnership between Queensland and Indonesia, particularly with Indonesian mining investors who are already making a valuable contribution to our state," Mr Widjaja said.
