Belconnen, ACT, Nov. 29 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
Arestaurantowner and anemployee will face court today after allegedly assaulting a fellow employeeata restaurant in Braddon.
Police allegethat onthree separate occasions in November(2025), the 40-year-old restaurant owner assaulted thevictimmultiple times, including slapping him in the head and kicking him.
On one occasion, a40-year-old employee allegedly punched the victimin the head while the owner was kickinghim.
OnSaturday (22 November 2025), police received a report of the incident after the victim attended hospital to be treated forserious injuriesas a result of the assaults.
Followinginvestigations, police arrestedthe 40-year-old restaurant ownerand the 40-year-old employeeattherestaurantinBraddonyesterday (Friday, 28 November 2025).
Both men will facethe ACT Magistrates Court today. The 40-year-oldrestaurant ownerhas been charged withfour counts of commonassaultand one count of joint commissionintentionally inflict actual bodily harm.
Theother 40-year-oldemployeehas been charged with joint commission intentionallyinflictactual bodily harm.
