Belconnen, ACT, April 25 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a single vehicle collision that occurred on Canberra Avenue yesterday.
About 1:35pm yesterday (Thursday, 24 April 2025) police and emergency services responded to reports of a blue Mazda 3 bearing NSW registration DD56WP colliding with a tree.
The collision occurred near the intersection of Woods Lane and Canberra Avenue.
A 63-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were transported to hospital both in a serious condition.
ACT Policing's Major Collision Team are conducting an investigation into the incident.
The vehicle was observed driving erratically on Norse Road in Beard and Canberra Avenue in Symonston shortly before the collision. Police urge anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the vehicle to come forward.
