Belconnen, ACT, Oct. 21 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
A 42-year-old woman has been charged with minor theft and drug offences after allegedly stealing items from a Dickson grocery store.
About 12:30pm yesterday (Monday, 20 October 2025) police were called to a grocery store in Dickson following a report of a woman allegedly stealing items.
On arrival, police located the 42-year-old woman out the front of the grocery store.
Officers searched a bag in the woman's possession and located numerous stolen items.
The woman, who was also in breach of good behaviour obligations, was conveyed to the ACT Watch House.
While searching the woman at the Watch House, officers located two small bags suspected of being methamphetamine and cannabis.
The woman has been charged with minor theft and possessing drug of dependence. She will appear before the Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 21 October 2025).
